Leadership Team
Lonnie Bloomquist – CEO and Chairman, Co-founder
A serial entrepreneur with a successful track record, Lonnie Bloomquist co-founded EdgeData in 2015 and now leads overall strategic direction as Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board. Additionally, he is a co-founder and Chairman of the Board for Hunters’ Management Group. Prior to EdgeData, Lonnie co-founded Involta and served as the Chief Technical Officer and Vice Chairman. His background includes network and communications design, IT executive leadership development and consulting ITSM (IT Service Management) tools and process consulting and CIP (Critical Infrastructure Protection) deployments.
Chris Shroyer – President, Co-founder
Chris Shroyer joined EdgeData as the operational team was being formed in 2015 and now spearheads company operations, client relations and new-market development as President. Prior to EdgeData, Chris was Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Involta, an award-winning data center and managed services company that spent multiple years on the Inc. 5000 List of America’s Fastest-Growing Companies. His background spans more than 25 years of experience in technology sales and service, including work with Hewlett-Packard and business development from start-ups to Fortune 100 organizations.
Jeff Thorsteinson – Board Member, Co-founder
Jeff Thorsteinson, the original visionary of EdgeData, co-founded the company in 2015 and continues to serve the organization as a key board member. His background includes over 33 years of experience establishing regulatory compliance, process performance and strategic excellence in the electrical utility and IT industries. He also served as the Operational Expert on RBMK (Russian-designed, graphite-moderated) nuclear reactors, developing emergency operations and management guidance after the 1986 Chernobyl disaster.
